Big Boy Casserole is a remake of an iconic restaurant's star menu item. Layers of tender beef, flaky crescent roll dough, tangy big boy sauce, tangy pickles, and lots of cheese!

Equipment
Pillsbury Original Crescent Dough Sheet, 1 ct., 8 oz.
9 x 13 Baking Dish Ceramic Casserole Dish, White
Ingredients

8 oz can crescent roll dough sheet or rolls
1.5
pounds
ground beef
cooked and drained
8
ounce
jar of tartar sauce
20-30
dill pickle slices
16
ounces
shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375F.
Spray a 9x13 dish with cooking spray. Spread the crescent roll dough out.
Cook the crescent roll dough for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove and set aside.
Pour tartar sauce over dough and spread out.
Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until no longer pink. Remove from heat and drain.
Spread cooked/drained ground beef over cooked dough.
Top with pickle slices and shredded lettuce.
Spread cheese over the top and bake for 5-7 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Remove and serve!
Notes
Substitute pie crust for the crescent dough in a pinch.
If you only have dill pickle relish, it will work just fine. Be sure to drain well first.
If you don’t like tartar sauce, substitute thousand island dressing or
big mac sauce
.
