Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 10.5 ounce can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 6 ounce box stuffing mix
  • 1 cup sour cream

Instructions

  • In a slow cooker, layer the chicken breasts on the bottom.
  • In a bowl, combine the soup and sour cream.
  • Spread over the chicken breasts.
  • Sprinkle the stuffing mix over the soup mix. Do not stir.
  • Cover and cook on low 4-5 or high 2-3 hours.
  • Serve as individual chicken breasts or shred and mix with gravy before serving.

Notes

  • Line the slow cooker with a liner for easier cleanup.
  • Season the boneless chicken breasts with salt, pepper, or your favorite seasoning mix before placing them in the slow cooker.
  • For crispier stuffing, transfer to a baking dish and bake at 375°F for about 15 minutes after slow cooking.
  • You can also substitute salad croutons for the stuffing mix. Just be sure to break up any large pieces.
